Basil, Mango, Orange Green Smoothie
raw vegan green smoothie
6 cups Power Greens (or spinach)
4 ounces of organic basil (by weight not cups)
2 oranges peeled and quartered (or you can use 2 cups unpasteurized orange juice instead of the oranges)
4-5 cups of frozen mangos
water to blend
Put all greens into blender with a couple of cups of water (or orange juice- it must be fresh squeezed or unpasteurized). Blend down. Add oranges (if you didn’t use orange juice), mangos and enough water to blend completely.
Separate into 3 canning jars. You can freeze one or two of these smoothies- just leave a one inch head space so that the smoothie can expand as it freezes.
1/2 cup mint lightly packed enough water to blend
Put the greens and herbs into blender with 2 cups of water and blend it down. Add the oranges and bananas and enough water to blend.
If not sweet enough to your liking add in a few drops of liquid stevia. Separate into 3 qt sized canning jars.
